Breath and Inner body
Lying or Sitting, start observing your breath. After a few moments of just observing breath as it is, try directing it to a place in your body where you feel some pain or discomfort. Let the breath gradually become deeper, relaxing that part of the body where you are breathing to.

After some time (a few minutes to half an hour) as you become more quiet, try imagining turning the direction of your breath, as if you are now breathing from the area you were focusing on, imagining the air and  oxygen are coming from the center of your stomach or the shoulder or lower back... upwards to the chest and the rest of the body.
Of course the air is still coming from the outside, but now you are also receiving something from deep within- the natural power of healing stored in your body is starting to flow in the body and a specially to where it is most needed.
